Gillies Bay Internet Society

We are a non-profit society established to bring wireless internet access to Gillies Bay and the surrounding area.

Using funds from Network BC , the Island Coastal Economic Trust , the Powell River Regional District, and with some initial help from the Lasqueti Internet Access Society we have been able to create and operate a wireless internet network to serve the community of Gillies Bay on the west coast of Texada Island, British Columbia.
